I am sick, yet again. That's twice in the last month, quite an anomaly. I believe the stress in law school is finally hitting me in my time of rest, but getting sick the day before class starts (an 8:30am class, no less) is just too cruel. I think I caught the cold while chopping onions in preparation for my homemade enchiladas. In the midst of tears and pain, I opened all the windows and all the doors on a chilly winters night to clear the onion fumes while wearing a skirt and a t-shirt - not the best idea. I then is stood in the kitchen freezing for 3 hours making the enchiladas, and then later on friends came over and I had lots of wine (translation: lots=2 glasses), which further lowered my immune system. Consequently I passed out, was thoroughly dehydrated, and wham! Got sick that very night. And I, a great lover of fine foods, have no appetite whatsoever for the delicious enchiladas painstakingly made, Alas! all I want are soup and chicken flavored Rice-a-Roni. And speaking of being sick, a BIG HUG to Chris who dashed to my side after classes to provide me with tea and lots of Rice-a-Roni, and who has been to multiple grocery stores again and again for whatever my sick body is whining for at the time. Thanks hon! You're the best!
